I've spent the last few nights updating the photo gallery with all of the pictures from the last few months. We are so busy with work, Landry and our busy weekends that I just never seem to have time to update here! Landry is at such a fun stage right now. She's very close to walking and says cute new words everyday! She loves to give us big wet sloppy kisses and can call the Hogs like a pro! I'm busy planning her first birthday and really can't believe that my baby will be a year old soon. In some ways it seems like this first year has flown by but at the same time we can't remember life without her!

Today was my first time to celebrate Mother's day as a Mom and I feel so incredibly lucky to be Landry's Mom! I love that little girl more than words could ever describe and getting to be her mommy is the best gift I could ever receive!

We spent last weekend in Natchez Mississippi for my sister's wedding! She got married at Monmouth Plantation and the ceremony was absolutely beautiful! Joel and Alex took some really great pictures of the entire weekend. Click the picture below to see all of the pics. Congrats Becca & David!!

Landry is almost 7 months and she just gets cuter each day. She's eating baby food now like a champ and she's just about got the crawling thing figured out. We're going to have to baby proof the house soon! Her favorite word at the moment is "da-da". I'm working hard on getting her to say "momma" though!

Happy Easter! FINALLY...an update! Things have been pretty busy since I went back to work so I haven't had much of a chance to update here. Landry's growing like a weed and she gets cuter each day. It's so exciting to watch her learn new things everyday. Between work/daycare and our busy weekends, it seems like the weeks are flying by. I can't believe my little girl will be 6 months old next month! April will be a very busy month for us but I am really going to try to update here at least once a month.....don't hold me to that though.

We had a wonderful Christmas! Landry got to meet a lot of family for the first time and I think she was held by about 50 different people. She did great travelling all over Arkansas and she got tons of new toys and clothes.

Landry starts daycare next week on Wednesday and I'm heading back to work. I'm terribly sad about leaving her. I'm already missing her just thinking about it. We got into a great daycare so I know she will be taken care of. I'm sure it will be much harder on me than it will be on her!

We had a great trip to Little Rock this past weekend to see our family. We went to Bryant Saturday to see my Dad's family and Sunday we went to Conway to see Sam's family. Landry got a ton of great stuff for Christmas from everyone. She did really well riding in the car on the trip there and back.

Landry had her 2 month check-up Monday. She weighs 12.6 pounds and is 24 inches long now. The doctor said was doing well and is very healthy. She also got 5 shots which was very hard to watch. I think it was harder on Sam, he said he wasn't going to go to her next appointment because he couldn't stand to see her get shots again.

Tonight we are heading up to our work to get pictures made with Santa. The Bottjen's and White's are bringing their kids and Joel is going to try to get a few group pictures. Should be fun! I'll be sure to post some pictures. We're going to Newport this weekend to celebrate Christmas with my Mom's family and then we will head back to Fayetteville to spend Christmas with my Mom, Pat, Becca and David.

Today is our 2 year anniversary. My mom is coming tonight to watch Landry so that Sam and I can go out to eat to celebrate. It's been a great two years and we feel blessed to have such a healthy and beautiful little girl. Landry is 7 weeks old and changing everyday. She smiles now and is starting to coo and try to talk to us. She still isn't very consistant in the sleep department at night but she seems to be getting a little bit better. She sleeps like a champ when she is being held .....can we say spoiled? :)

Landry is one month old this week! She’s still doing great and growing everyday! I haven’t had a lot of time to post. Landry keeps me pretty busy and any free time we get we are unpacking and trying to get the new house organized. Sam’s mom is coming to visit Saturday. She’s going to watch Landry so Sam and I can go to dinner with friends. It will be my first time to leave her so we will see how that goes. I’m looking forward to getting out of the house for a few hours but I’m sure I will miss her terribly ? New pics are in the photo gallery.

Happy Halloween!! Landry is doing great! She slept last night!! I think she is finally getting her days and nights all figured out. Things are a little crazy around here right now. We are trying to get moved into the new house so I haven't had much time to post. If anyone is bored Sunday we are having a moving party.....feel free to come on over and help out!! I'll post more pictures later of Landry's photo shoot with Joel and pictures from the Razorback game last weekend. For now, here's a picture of Landry napping on the couch this afternoon.

Yes, I am posting at almost 1:00 in the morning. It seems little Miss Landry has her days and nights all mixed up! Besides the lack of sleep, things are going well. Landry is eating well and changing everyday. Sam's sister and my dad and stepmom came to visit Landry Saturday. Pictures are posted in the photo gallery.

Landry is doing great! We took her to the doctor yesterday. She didn't like getting her temp taken very much but otherwise she did well. She weighs 6 lbs 12 ounces so she hasn't lost anymore weight since we left the hospital. Hopefully now that she is eating on a regular schedule she will start to put on some weight. She still seems so tiny to me, none of her clothes fit but she should grow into them soon! My dad, stepmom and Sam's sister and mom are visting this weekend so we will be sure to post some pictures!

She’s finally here!!

Landry Maryann
October 14th at 7:22 a.m.
7 pounds and 21 inches long

I started having contractions Saturday night / early Sunday morning and we went to the hospital around 3 a.m. Every time I had a contraction Landry’s heart rate would drop really low so the doctor decided to do an emergency c-section since I was only dilated to 1. Everything went well and our beautiful little girl is healthy and doing wonderfully! I’ve posted a lot of pictures in the photo gallery.

Words can’t describe how completely in love we are with her! She is perfect and we can’t ever imagine life without her now!

STILLLLLLLLLLLLL no baby! My doctor is giving me until Monday and if she doesn't get into position by then we will do a c-section. If she is in position he will induce labor. So, either way hopefully she will be here by early next week. We had an ultrasound at my last appointment and got to see her cute little face. They estimated her weight to be somewhere between 8.5-9.0 pounds....sooooo...I'm thinking c-section is probably best :). We are counting down the days until we get to meet our beautiful little girl!

I've posted new pictures of our new house in the photo gallery so be sure to check them out! I know, I know.....new baby, new house....we are insane! We close on the house in a few weeks but we will have plenty of time to get moved because the person buying our house won't be using it until Dec/Jan. so that will help make things a little less chaotic!

No baby yet!!! We're getting really close. Her room is all ready and the bags are packed and ready to go to the hospital. We will be sure to post pictures as soon as we can. I'm planning on doing a better job of posting here once Landry is here. Be sure to check out the photo gallery, I've posted pictures of her room and pictures from some of the showers we've had. We are really blessed to have such wonderful family and friends we were overwhelmed by all of the great stuff we've received!

P.S.....A BIG congrats to my sister and David!! They are engaged and getting married in April. We're so happy for them both!

Most of you know by now that we are having a GIRL!!! We've been busy lately shopping for baby furniture, bedding, gear clothes....etc. The baby furniture is up and in the nursery and the bedding is ordered and should be here in a few weeks. We still have to paint and buy window treatments and some other accessories. I will be sure to post some pictures when we get it all finished. Only about 3 more months until Landry is here. We can't wait! Here's a few pictures of the first few outfits we bought her. Shopping for a baby girl is so much fun :)

Congrats to Jim & Kelli on the birth of their BEAUTIFUL baby girl! Averi Elaine was born May 16th at 2:10 pm. She weighes 8 pounds and 4 ounces and is 20 inches long. Mommy and baby are home from the hospital and both are doing well!

Pictures from the Bottjen Baby Shower and Mother's Day weekend are up in the photo gallery. We had a wonderful weekend at the lake and all of my family there threw us a suprise baby shower. We got some great stuff!!!

Congrats to Chris & Kelly on the birth of their BEAUTIFUL baby girl! Reaghan Skylar was born today at 7:30 pm. She weighes 8 pounds and 5 ounces and is 21 and a half inches long.

We're home! We had so much fun in Orlando. The game.....was not so fun, but we still had a really good time while we were there. We went to Universal City Walk for NYE and had a blast. Sam and Jonathan even got to meet Cindi Lauper at our hotel! We stayed at Portofino Bay which is located at Universal and it was really convenient to be able to go back forth from the hotel to City Walk or the either of the Universal theme parks. We spent all day Saturday and Sunday at both of the Universal theme parks so it was nice to have the ferry boats to take us to and from our hotel.

I've updated the photo gallery with pictures from our trip, Christmas and a few other things from this past month. Here's our new TV that Sam and I got "each other" for Christmas this year. One of the HD channels played a fire buring in a fireplace with Christmas music playing in the background all day long on Christmas Day and Sam got a big kick of it....
